Get help for common online banking queries

  1. From our home page choose Log In at the top right corner of the page
  2. Enter your USERNAME and click Log In
  3. Next you enter your PASSWORD. You created this when you registered. (This is not your PIN – which is the 8-digit number you received by text)
  4. Generate 4-Digit ONE TIME PASSCODE (OTP) – you will receive a secure message to your mobile phone.
  5. Enter the 4-digit number and Click “I approve this transaction”
  6. Enter activation PIN – which is the 8-digit number you got by text
  7. Click Submit.
  8. You will now be asked to create a Memorable Word

You must be a member of St. Brigid’s Credit Union and be 16 years or over to register.

Joint accounts can register to view their account online however to avail of the funds transfer facility you must have completed an authorisation form in the office which allows either member to withdraw solely on the account.

Unfortunately association accounts (groups / clubs etc.) cannot be registered.

Under 16s can register if they have a current account

If you forget your Username,  you can request a reminder from the login screen by clicking on “Log In” then “Forgot Username?” then Enter your registered email address and a reminder email will be sent.

If you forget your Password, this can be recovered by clicking on “Log In” then “Forgot Password?”

If your account has become suspended or you cannot remember your log-in details, please do not register again for the online service.

If you are not receiving OTPs but have previously, there are a few things that could cause this:

  • Are you in an area with bad service?
  • Have you changed mobile numbers? – please contact the office to update your contact information on your credit union account.

Try using the Send via the APP option to get the OTP (One Time Passcode).

Please contact the office if you still do not receive an OTP and a member of the team will try to assist.

To set up biometric login, please sign into the app once or twice and you should see a pop-up message requesting consent to enable facial/fingerprint ID. If you do not receive this request, go to Settings on your mobile and enable facial/fingerprint ID from here.

If your biometric login previously worked but does not anymore, you may have to re-set this. Please contact the office and a member of the team will re-set your biometric login and you will be able to set this up again following the steps above.

Access your statements, wherever you are.

You may have more than one sub-account within your account. These may include Shares, Current, Visual Savings and Christmas. To download a statement for one of these sub-accounts:

  • Scroll to My balances
  • Select View on the account balance you wish to access
  • Select Dates, choose the dates you want to include,

Select Download and the file will download to your device, where you can print/save.

  1. From the main menu, click Payments → Create Payee.
  2. This will bring you to Step 1 of 3. Read the information displayed and click Next.
  3. On Step 2 of 3, enter the following details:
  • Payee Name (payee reference that will appear on your Online Account going forward)
  • Account Name (name on bank account you are sending to)
  • Payment Reference (what will show on the payee’s bank)
  • IBAN of bank account you are transferring to
  • BIC (this will fill automatically for Irish bank accounts)
  1. Enter your password you use for logging into your Online Banking.

    You have now saved this bank account to your online account.

Select Payments – Make a Payment

At the top of the page you will see My Balances, you can scroll between your sub-accounts and click Select on the balance you wish to transfer from

Under Make a Payment it will show you the account balance you have selected and the available balance.

There are two options available External payment or Pay someone or Loan in your Credit Union

External Payment

  1. Click on To and select from the list of saved payees on your account, if it is a new payee you will need to go to create payee first and save the details.
  2. Select start date
  3. Enter amount
  4. Select one off payment or regular payment
  5. Enter payment reference
  6. Select Next
  7. Check the payment details
  8. Select either use password or use biometrics
  9. Select confirm

Pay Someone or Loan in your Credit Union

  1. Enter the credit union account number you wish to transfer to
  2. Select the balance name – this is where you wish to send the funds – Shares, Loans, Current etc.
  3. Select start date
  4. Enter amount
  5. Select one off payment or regular payment
  6. Enter payment reference
  7. Select Next
  8. Check the payment details
  9. Select either use password or use biometrics
  10. Select confirm
